At 29, Helena’s sights are on a someone funny and hopefully Northern as she claims they have much more banter is better than Southerners… erm not sure about that. In the first episode of Season 12, Helena made it very clear she’s a personality kind of gal, saying she likes them medium-ugly. Humour is top of her checklist, ‘You can pretty much laugh me into bed. I like a four out of 10 that’s funny’, she admits.

She confirmed she has left her cabin crew job but they’ve kindly said she can come back to her role after the Love Island stint, if needed. Helena's first pairing was with last minute entry to the villa, 25-year-old pro rugby player Conor Phillips but from the start, she had eyes for semi pro footballer, Harry Cooksley. However, over the first week of the series, he has proven not to be the right match for her after they clashed over lifestyles and longevity.
In a candid conversation with the other boys, Harry, 30, betrayed her trust by sharing her sexual encounter as he admitted that he wasn't sure if Helena was the girl for him 'long term'. He called her 'a good time girl' because she'd confessed to a threesome - only to reveal his double standards as he claimed that he once slept with an entire women's football team along his teammates.
'For me, with Helena, it's like, I don't know if she's just a good time girl... I'm having a good time, but I want to have a long time,' he said. 'What I'm learning about her lifestyle, and what she does, she goes out a lot. We had the conversations - you were all there. She had a threesome. I don't think that really worries me. Because I can guarantee I've done worse, sort of thing. But I think it did surprise me a little bit.'
Harry also sparked backlash after it emerged that he fixed the Got The Receipts game so that he could kiss Shakira Khan. All very disrespectful. When she found out the truth, Helena still couldn't dump him but told the other girls, 'I'm proceeding with caution.'

Another remarked, 'Helena has no backbone, so Harry is going to continue doing what he wants with no consequences in that villa.'
