Unsurprisingly, most of the strangers matched together by 'experts' for a reality TV show do not find a lasting connection. To this day, only 11 of the couples who met on Married At First Sight Australia are still together, and sadly that does not include Tony Mojanovski, 53, and Morena Farina, 57 from season 12.
When Tony and Morena first met on their wedding day they seemed to bond instantly and many fans hoped that they would go the distance.

Are Tony and Morena still together?
Unfortunately, things didn't work out between Morena and Tony and they parted ways during the experiment. It all started well but things began to go downhill during intimacy week when Tony kept putting Morena in a headlock and fist bumping her, claiming it was his way of showing affection.
Tony later admitted that he wanted to have children, which appeared to open up a rift between them. After leaving the show, Tony told 9Entertainment: 'I wanted to at least feel the experience, to learn off her, learn from the experts, get some information about where we're going wrong in life.
'But it got to a stage where i just couldn't be around her and I was ducking and weaving and I was going to see my dog.'
What happened between Tony and Morena?
During intimacy week, Tony grew frustrated when he felt Morena dominated their conversation with sex expert Alessandra Rampolla. He then temporarily left the experiment and Morena said, 'He's making it really difficult because he behaves like a five-year-old. I just don't get it.'
However, when Tony rejoined the experiment things went from bad to worse. During family and friends week, he revealed that he wanted to have children despite having never mentioned that before. 'When I came in, I wanted someone that was a bit younger than me who was still going to have kids,' he explained.
The couple were unable to recover from this disagreement and by the time they both voted to leave the experiment, Morena wrote 'good riddance' on her card.
Was Tony legally married when he went on the show?
Yes! This show is full of twists. Tony and Morena were one of the only couples who didn't have their honeymoon aired on the show.
Speaking on the It's A Lot podcast, Morena revealed why their trip was not shown. 'You notice that there's no honeymoon of me?' she asked. 'We're at the honest box and his words, "Morena, I have to tell you something. They've told me I've got to tell you now.'
'You make mistakes in life, as long as you learn from them,' he said before telling her, 'I'm married.' The former reality star said she 'froze' in shock and asked if he meant 'separated'.
Morena then explained that she did five months of interviews and gave the producers three dealbreakers: no smokers, no one who has cheated and no one married.
As a DJ, she explained that she is often approached by married men at events she DJs at. Apparently, Alessandra said, 'Don't you feel beautiful that they come up to you?' and she replied, 'I'm sorry, that goes against all my beliefs.'
Tony was married twice before going on the show and his second wife was called Tatiana. Daily Mail Australia has since alleged that Tony and his second wife were still married during filming, but they were estranged. Tony has not publicly responded to the allegations.
