Married At First Sight's Amy Christopher has spoken about the way she was treated while working as a glamour model, saying she felt 'pressured' into making an adult film. The reality star and presenter, 34, was a model before she became a sports journalist, and old footage of Amy was leaked on to PornHub when MAFS hit screens.

Speaking about the leak, Amy - matched with Josh Christie, 26, on the show - has said: 'Making that video was a silly decision, but I was young and ill-advised. I felt pressured into it. It's something that's always haunted me. I didn't think it would ever be seen in the public domain.' However, Amy said that she also felt slightly thankful that the video went online. She added to The Sun: 'Now it's out there I almost feel relieved. It's been like a dirty secret I've been keeping for ten years.'

But this shouldn't have to have been a 'dirty secret' for her, or something she should have feared coming out. The sad reality is old things - like nudes or videos - resurface when women suddenly become famous. And this shouldn't be the case, because it's completely wrong. The same kind of thing happened with Love Island's Shannon Singh, who had some of her old OnlyFans content leaked when it was announced she was starring on Love Island.

It's gross, utterly unfair and voyeristic. And just because someone is in the public eye, does not mean you have a right to see any sort of sexual content from them, even if they previously worked as a glamour model.

As Amy herself said in the interview, luckily she now doesn't feel embarrassed by the video - because she has no reason to. 'It's 2021 - everyone has sex and even though it's a sexual fantasy video it's not something to be ashamed of,' she says. 'So I am no longer going to feel shame for a certain video in the past.'
