Binge watchers rejoice, Laura Ricciardi and Moira Demos, the creators of Netflix's hit true crime series Making A Murderer are set to return to our screens with a new show. Oh, and they've got George Clooney on board.
The show (whether it's to be a one off or a series remains to be seen) is going to be based on a series of Huffington Post articles called 'America's Most Admired Lawbreaker' which covered the story of Johnson & Johnson's creation and sale of a problematic antipsychotic drug all whilst covering up the side effects from their customers, who were mainly old people and children.
The drug was ruled to have been falsely marketed and a two billion dollar settlement was reached despite the company having made sales of up to $30 billion. Side effects are said to include, but are not limited to, uncontrolled shaking, nosebleeds, sores in your mouth, uneven heartbeats.
Horrific stuff. Especially if you're a child or old person.
The show is being made by Smokehouse Pictures, half owned by George Clooney.
