Things may have not worked out for MAFS Australia's Jacqui Burfoot with her on-screen husband Ryan Donnelly, but true love's course never did run smooth. It turns out she's found love with someone else.... from the same series. The man in question is Clint Rice.

The pair – who got together in November 2024 after filming ended on the 12th series and following her split with her TV husband Ryan Donnelly – have been flaunting their new life together, with the lawyer-turned-jewellery designer sharing Instagram posts even moving to Tasmania to live with Rice. All this happened before his wedding to his ‘bride’ Lauren Hall had even aired.

Is Jacqui engaged to Clint?

Turns out she and Clint Rice are now together i.e. the groom who was partnered up with Lauren Hall. Not only are they together, but the pair confirmed during the series' reunion that they're now engaged. During an Instagram Q&A, they revealed they wanted to tie the knot 'between January and March next year'.

'We're actually ready for kids and babies,' Jacqui said. 'So, personally, I want to be married before I get pregnant because I don't want to be dealing with the drama of being pregnant and having a wedding dress altered throughout. So, we're very keen to get married ASAP.'

Sharing the news on Instagram, the New Zealand-born reality star wrote: 'I am ready to settle down and have babies (4-5 kiddos) ANNNNDDDDD I am currently in a relationship with a person who has exactly what I asked for — someone kind, considerate, a great man, and intelligent.'

What happened between Jacqui and Ryan?

After making it to final vows on the show, Jacqui and Ryan decided to part ways. It wasn't a huge surprise for anyone who watched this series given how much they argued.

In fact, Ryan called his bride a 'high-maintenance nightmare' and she responded, 'in a world of red flags, you are the red carpet'. Speaking to Nine about her iconic vows, Jacqui said: 'For me, I just spoke my truth and my reality. In hindsight I could have spoken more out of emotion and talked about how I felt, but everyone had complained I was being too dramatic.'

Things quickly got heated off the series too, as Jacqui was granted an interim restraining order in the state of Tasmania, which prevented her on-screen husband from talking about her on social media.
