She might be one of the most controversial MAFS Australia characters of all time, but Jacqui Burfootcontinues to shock off-screen. The latest update: she's been accused of posing as her own number one fan by another Married At First Sight participant.

Harrison Boon who took part in the 2023 season shared his personal investigation on TikTok, sharing the claim that Jacqui was supporting her own fan funding campaign via the platform Buy Me A Coffee – a place where fans can support people by donating and leaving comments.

'Jacqui has downloaded the app where her fans can buy her a coffee. But no one would buy Jacqui a coffee for $8 because, who in their right mind would,' Harrison said in the video, adding that she had then commented on the page in the third person to try and encourage others to join in.

'So, Jacqui decided to become a supporter of herself and what did Jacqui's message to herself say, you might ask?' he said. 'Jacqui writes, in the third person, to herself, "Thank you for all the laughs. You were our favourite bride of all time. Never a dull moment."'

Jacqui was one of the brides on series 12 of Married At First Sight Australia. She is also a consultant, certified yoga teacher, model, and has a double degree in law and finance with first-class honours in law.

She was married to groom Ryan Donnelly on the show, but the pair were essentially doomed from the very start. Their relationship has only further deteriorated since the show ended, with restraining orders being issued.

Jacqui was granted an interim restraining order in the state of Tasmania, which prevented her on-screen husband from talking about her on social media.

Ryan responded by applying for an apprehended domestic violence order (AVO) against Jacqui which, according to the Local Court of New South Wales, ‘protects people by ordering a person known as the “defendant” not to assault, molest, harass, intimidate or stalk the protected person for a specific period of time.’

The order Ryan has applied for would stop Jacqui from being able to post about him online for two years.
