On last night’s Love Island, a brutal dumping sent shockwaves through the villa - now an interview with Clarisse Juliette is sending a few more into the outside world...

After being given an ultimatum, the girls saved Tyler from being dumped, whilst the boys saved Mary. This meant islanders Hugo, Clarisse, Amy and Sam left the villa.

And upon leaving the Island, Clarisse opened about her feelings for Tyler, and her quotes seem to suggest Tyler's motives might not just be love-based.

She stated, ‘In the real world - and without even trying to sound petty or anything, I know that he would have been with me.’

She continued, ‘I can see how comfortable he was with me, it was just natural. I feel like he is a bit fake. I am a bit disappointed in him really.’

Kaz, Clarisse and Tyler were in a very messy love triangle that spiralled across a few episodes after Casa Amor. Tyler did eventually make his feelings known to Clarisse and expressed that there was just something about Kaz that he couldn’t shake.

Islander Kaz Kamwi (despite a hiccup this week), has been a firm fan favourite with the viewers and her fellow islanders. She has also never been in the bottom three couples, even when she was in a friendship couple with ex- islander Aaron Francis. If bombshell Tyler did watch from the outside before coming into the villa, he would know this too...

When asked what she would do differently if she could do her time again, Clarisse said ‘I definitely wouldn’t have been with Tyler and only because he’s not really honest. He’s not true to himself in my opinion.’ – Ouch.

Hmm... seems like a reunion is not really on the cards...

Fans have been divided on whether Tyler’s intentions for Kaz are pure. Since the early stages eagle eyed fans have pointed out many 'red flags' with how he has moved. This revelation from Clarisse will only spark further conversation and division...

Love Island continues tomorrow at 9pm on ITV2 and ITV Hub. Episodes are available the following morning on BritBox.
