In case you have been living under a rock, the Love Island line-up was released yesterday. Yes, that means we only have to wait until Sunday to watch a new group of singletons couple up and fight for each other’s attention - all in front of millions of viewers. And this year, for the new winter series in South Africa, the line-up is a little different.
For starters, there doesn’t seem to be anybody with their job title as ‘influencer’. And there’s twins! Eve and Jess Gale. (Eve’s claim to fame? Apparently, Kylie Jenner’s ex, Tyga, messaged her and asked to meet up in Ibiza.)
But there’s also two slightly familiar faces. For different reasons. Rochelle Humes’{

Meet The Love Island Contestants
Leanne Amaning, 22 from London - Customer Service Advisor
'If you're friends then you don't cross any boundaries', says Leanne. 'If you're not close friends with someone there's no such thing as girl code.'
Siânnise Fudge, 25 from Bristol - Beauty Consultant
'My friends call me Princess Jasmine And the Eyebrow Queen', Siannise says. 'I'm after my own Aladdin, I guess.'
Eve and Jess Gale, 20 from London - Students and VIP hostesses
Eve says: ''Tyga, Kylie Jenner's ex, messaged me. We were both at an event and I posted an Instagram story tagging him. He then messaged me afterwards and we spoke on WhatsApp. Then when me and Jess were in Ibiza, he was there again. He asked me to meet him but we arrived the day he left. Pop Smoke, the R 'n' B rapper, messaged me too.'Jess says: 'I was seeing someone and it was going really well. Then I saw him on Instagram in photos with a girl. The caption said 'A rare one, I love you'. They'd been to Dubai together and were proper tight. The dates with me meant he'd been cheating the whole time.''
Shaughna Phillips, 25 from London - Democratic Services Officer
'My last boyfriend I was with cheated on me', explains Shaughna. 'I always used to think if I got cheated on it'd be door shut, go away. It's not like that, cheating messes you up. I could never do that to anyone. I wouldn't like to be with someone who had cheated in their past.'
Sophie Piper, 21 from Essex - Medical PA (and sister to This Morning host Rochelle Humes)
'I went for dinner on a date and we had camembert to start. The date went well and I gave him a peck goodbye when I left', recalls Sophie. 'I got home and went in to take my make-up off and realised I had a bit of cheese hanging down from the corner of my mouth. I don't know how I didn't feel it and he hadn't said anything to me! When I asked him about it he said he hadn't wanted to embarrass me but I'd rather have known. I'm hoping my dates are a bit less cheesy in the Villa...'
Paige Turley, 22 from West Lothian - Singer
'I'm on my phone constantly, mainly on social media', says Paige. 'I feel like I'm not in the room as much as I should be. I think that's what I'm going to struggle with the most in the villa, not having my phone.'
Mike Boateng, 24 from London - Police Officer
'I'm a solid 8 and I have piercing eyes that look into your soul', Mike says. 'II'm lucky because of my job as a Police Officer I can use the cheeky lines about getting handcuffs out! It normally works.'
Connor Durman, 25 from Brighton - Coffee Bean Salesman
'I went on a date with a girl', says Connor. 'She asked me back to her house for some more drinks and let's just say I ended up getting on really well with her housemate...'
Callum Jones, 23 from Manchester - Scaffolder
'I always think it's best to go to a guy and speak to them first to clear up anything you need to' says Callum of the "boy code." 'I wouldn't go behind a lad's back.'
Nas Majeed, 23 from London - Sports Science Graduate and Builder
Nas says: 'If I think you're pretty, I'll tell you you're pretty. Or I'll comment on your outfit, rather than a generic chat up line. In a relationship, I'm loyal. Dating is different. You're not really completely attached to someone...'
Ollie Williams, 23 from Cornwall - Heir to the Lanhydrock Estate / Land Owner
'Best chat up line I've ever used is, "Do you know Polzeath beach in Cornwall? I own it." ' says Ollie. 'That's it. Chat up line, done. My party trick is the fact that I throw a bloody awesome party! Think Gatsby but with better fireworks.'
