Another day, another bombshell on Love Island!
Last night we were introduced to a new islander - Brett Staniland.
The model and PhD student turned the head of another new arrival, Priya Gopaldas, leaving Matt McNabb single and dumped from the island.
However, outside the villa all Love Island fans could talk about was Brett and his twin brother Scott's Instagram’s. Before Love Island Brett was a non-league footballer and got ‘scouted’ to work as a model, alongside his brother Scott. After being scouted he stepped back from football to focus on modelling and his exercise and health studies.
When asked about his brother Scott he revealed ‘ We’re identical mirror twins. Our hair naturally parts the other way, I’m left-handed, he’s right handed, he’s left footed and I’m right footed. He continued ,'There’s some blemishes on our skin which are perfectly opposite. I’m older by two minutes. 'There’s some very peculiar questions I get asked, like if I hit you will he feel it?’ he adds.
The pair often share fashionable snaps of their modelling work to Instagram – they already have over 80k followers between them.
The pair also used their identical likeness to play tricks during school, he revealed,' We used to swap classes at school– but we’d get caught out because our friends couldn’t keep quiet.
He continued, 'Our parents got called in once because they thought we’d cheated on a test because we’d scored the exact same result and even the questions we got wrong, we’d put the same thing. But we were sat on opposite sides of the room, we couldn’t possibly have cheated.'
