‘There were some really touching moments between some of the boys, we really supported each other in there and it’s a shame they couldn’t show all of that,’ Tom Stroud said in an Instagram Q&A with fans. ‘And then some absolute car crash dates we’d hear about which would be TV gold.’

He also revealed that the couples were portrayed on cameras as they were in real life. ‘I think everyone was represented pretty well. The good, the bad and the ugly,’ Tom explained. ‘Obviously it’s TV so they need to make certain elements feel more dramatic but it certainly shone a light on some of the stuff I still need to work on.’

Maria shared, ‘The hardest part is the unnatural environment of it. There are so many fun parts and it’s such a great experience but… sometimes it can feel quite pressurised. Marriage is bloody important and life-changing so feeling the pressure can be quite overwhelming.’

While we wait with bated breath if Demi and Ollie get their happy ever after, Ollie revealed that his feelings for Demi are genuine. ‘She’s loving, patient, understanding and almost as funny as me,’ he said.
