'Every little girl wants that fairytale ending,' she said. She said she’s used to guys seeing her only as a friend, and only finding her attractive when she gets glammed up.

From the start, Demi had an instant spark and clicked with Ollie, although she had to share his affections with Catherine. ‘I do genuinely believe that a solid foundation for a relationship is a friendship, and I already feel like I got that with you,’ Ollie told her on their first date.
They discussed their future together early on, even talking about starting a family. Demi opened up about her endometriosis, which she said, ‘really has ruined relationships’ as it could make fertility difficult. In turn, he confided in her about his ADHD.
‘I’ve always wanted a family and to be a good mum. It’s hard for me to naturally conceive because I’ve got endometriosis,’ she told Ollie. ‘Sometimes I don’t feel like I’m enough which is really scary. You really struggle each month – physically, mentally.’ But he responded, ‘It doesn’t change anything about the way I feel about you or how I feel about our future.’
Any fears and doubts she had disappeared as soon as he proposed to her, after giving a heartfelt speech while they were in their pods – she said ‘Yes!’
What’s going on with Demi and Ollie?
After she agreed to marry him, Demi and Ollie found their relationship tested while they were in Corfu. While they got on brilliantly when they had their alone time, it was different once they met the rest of the cast. Meeting Catherine, his previous connection, as well as having their relationship scrutinised by Demi’s friends seemed to stir up some feelings in Ollie and his withdrawal from Demi made her feel insecure.
However, they worked through their issues and got their relationship back on track when they moved into their own apartment in London. Ahead of their big day, Demi appeared happier than ever. ‘I feel like a princess. Girl’s back, and she’s new and improved,’ she said when trying on her wedding dress.
She later said, ‘I feel like this has been a rollercoaster and along the way, I’ve just trusted the process and things are aligning. I’ve got Ollie and I’ve got a loving family.’
However, viewers were left with a cliffhanger on their wedding day as Ollie appears to question their relationship – if they’re better off as friends than romantic partners – while Demi herself has her doubts. ‘Today, I make a real big decision. Is it ‘I do’ or is it ‘I do, but not for now?’

Behind the scenes, she revealed, ‘I said no to marrying Ollie today and it did break my heart. Ollie knows I love him and he understands my reasoning because that’s the man he is. It’s not the end of our journey.’
Demi said that she still loves him and wants their relationship to continue, suggesting this may not be the final chapter for them.
‘It’s not, “I do not. I’m going to walk away from you forever”. It’s an “I do not for now”. I love you,’ she said as they embraced. Ollie agreed, adding, ‘This chapter’s closed but the story’s not over.’ Our fingers are crossed...
