You’d have thought that after thirteen seasons and four spin-off series' we’d be pretty over Louise Thompson and the Made In Chelseacast by now, especially the original lot who have been causing havoc in West London and beyond for televised entertainment for more than six years now.
But alas, we’re still tuning into E4 to watch as the gang go out for drinks, attend outlandish dinner parties and break-up/make-up with one another. And if there’s anyone who did it particularly well (kind of. From season two onwards), it’s Louise Thompson.
None had highs and lows quite like Louise. No one confused and entertained us quite like Louise. And let’s be real, no one had relationships quite like Louise, did they?
With the next series looming and our unabashed fascination with the lives of the rich and television famous still as pertinent as ever, here is absolutely everything you could possibly need to know about _Made In Chelsea’_s Louise Thompson.
What’s Louise Thompson’s full name?
If we’re not mistaken, her birth certificate should read ‘Louise Anne De Courcy Thompson’. Not that we’ve seen it. But it’s what IMDb says…
What’s Louise Thompson’s age?
She’s 27 years of age. Birthday tweets to be sent on 26 March, please.
Why is Louise Thompson famous?
Because she was on Made In Chelsea, obvs. Louise joined the show in 2011 for the second series. Oh, the glory days.
Where can I follow Louise Thompson on Instagram?
Her username is @louise.thompson. Expect lots of street style type photos of her in nice looking clothes, with a few super coupley pictures of her and boyfriend Ryan.
Does Louise Thompson have Snapchat?
‘Course she does mate. You can find here at
louisethompson
What’s Louise Thompson height?
Yeah, she’s petite as she looks on screen. Google says 1.52 metres which is about 5ft. I met Louise once and her head reached somewhere between my shoulder and elbow. I’m about 5ft10 so we’ll say this all sounds about right.
Who Is Louise Thompson’s Boyfriend?
He goes by the name of Ryan Libbey and he’s super tall and super muscley. Ryan is a personal trainer and they met at a gym session way back in 2015 apparently. He’s also a model and now a cast member on Made In Chelsea too.
Is Louise Thompson Engaged?
She sure is, to her personal trainer now fiance Ryan Libbey. He got down on one knee on his birthday during a trip to Los Angeles back in August 2018. In true couples-who-gym-together style, it was during a hike. Yep, with Louise in his oversized t-shirt and cycling shorts, dust flying everywhere, Ryan said 'I’ve had the best birthday ever, but there’s one more birthday wish that I’d like. Will you marry me?"' to which Louise almost fainted, according to OK! magazine.
'I’m still shell-shocked. I’ve been crying solidly for three days. It’s the most exciting thing that’s ever happened to me in my entire life,' she told the publication, 'Ryan and I have known that we want to spend the rest of our lives together for quite a long time. I love him more and more every day, which sounds so clichéd, but it’s the truth.'
What is Louise Thompson's book about?
Live Well With Louise: Fitness & Food to Feel Strong & Happy is Louise Thompson's guide to fitness and healthy living. Featuring over 70 recipes and her favourite 30-minute work-outs, she shares her outlook on exercise and positivity.
The book originally caused controversy when it was first announced with the title 'Body Positive'. Given Louise's body perfectly fits into traditional beauty standards, many body positivity activists felt she was jumping onto a trend meant to celebrate diverse body-types, specifically built from the fat positivity movement, and - as a diet guide - promoting the opposite of what it actually stands for.
Yet, with a quick re-brand and new cover image, the book seems to have faired well despite the controversy, scoring 4.3/5 stars on Amazon UK.
Who Are Louise Thompson's Parents?
Louise’s mum is called Karen. She seems great and looks very much like Louise as a matter of fact. Here she is…
What’s the deal with Louise Thompson and Ryan Libbey’s workouts?
They’re pretty much the embodiment of the phrase ‘couples who train together, stay together’. It can be a bit much for us mere mortals to watch every now and again but it seems to be working for them. Beyond the realms of Instagram, apparently, the plan is to star in their own fitness-focussed spin-off television series. Watch this space.
