Remember 1997? How old was everyone... I, for one, was somewhere in between practising for my Grade one violin (it didn't go well, my teacher quit teaching violin altogether, I kid you not), watching a hell of a lot of Rugrats/Are You Afraid of the Dark, oh, and busting a nut dancing like the opposite of a child prodigy at discos to my favourite band (much to Dad's Oasis loving chagrin) Blur.
If you were anything like me, you've probably been dead chuffed with the Band's new album The Magic Whip because not only has it got some banging tunes, it also means they've been bopping around the world, playing gigs and generally reminding us of how sad we were when they went away.
The pinacle came on Friday when the band performed at The Music Hall Of Williamsburg and, for the first time in 15 years, pulled Song 2 out of the bag. Which was just fan-flipping-tastic. Check it out below.
