Ever since they first said 'I love you' on Netflix reality dating show Love is Blind, the internet has been enraptured by Lauren Speed and Cameron Hamilton. They are one of only two couples from the show who both said 'I do' and since that revelation fans on social media have been hungry for a look into their married life.
Could Lauren and Cameron’s love story be the subject of a Love is Blind spin-off?
While co-hosting Entertainment Tonight, Lauren and Cameron – who’ve already been married for over a year, were enthusiastic about the idea of a spin-off.
'We're hoping so. Spinoff gods, if you're listening, let's make it happen!' said Lauren. "We would love to continue sharing our story with everybody. I feel like all the juicy stuff is just now happening. Like, this is the good stuff!'
Cameron was just as hopeful at the prospect of a show following the couple. 'We just love working together and spending time together and going on these little adventures,' he said. 'So, we hope so. Let's see what happens.'
There’s no word at the moment about whether a spin-off is in the works or what it could look like. Will we see more of Papa Speed? And what about the newest addition to the family, their 'fur baby' Sparks, who Lauren managed to persuade Cameron – who never thought he’d date somebody with a dog - to get.
As for other babies… Lauren and Cameron revealed at the Love Is Blind Reunion, that they’ve been thinking about the possibility of having children. 'My paternal instinct is kicking in pretty hardcore,' admitted Cameron.
Lauren suggested they might have children by this time next year but for now, the couple are focusing on their relationship. The content creator from Detroit has talked about being grateful for having the year out of the spotlight to strengthen the bonds she originally formed with scientist Cameron in the pods.
Whether we’ll get to see that in a new TV show remains to be seen. Here's hoping the spin-off gods are feeling benevolent!
