The internet is still reeling following the final episode of Succession – with the story of the Roy dynasty finally coming to a close.

But although the TV series has officially ended after its fourth season – with a host of fan theories sleuthing behind the scenes to discover the real meaning of the finale – fans aren't content that the story of Roman, Shiv, and Kendall has actually come to an end. If that's you, you're in luck because Succession creator Jesse Armstrong has revealed exactly what he thinks is in the future of his own creations, the three Roy siblings...

In the TikTok video, Jesse breaks down each sibling – giving fans an insight into exactly why things ended the way they did, and just where the Roy family will go from here.

Opening up about youngest son and Roman ‘Romulus’ Roy, he said ‘In a reductive, brutal way, Roman ends up exactly where he started. He is that guy still, he maybe could have easily been a playboy jerk with some slightly nasty instincts and some quite funny jokes. He could have stayed in a bar being that guy, and this has been a bit of a detour in his life, I’d say.’

On only daughter Siobhan ‘Shiv’ Roy, Jesse revealed, ‘Shiv is still in play, I’d say, in a rather terrifying, frozen, emotionally barren place. But she has got this kind of non-victory, non-defeat. I mean, there’s going to be some movement there.’

‘There’s still a lot of that game to play out, but that’s where we leave it. And it feel like it’s going to be hard to progress for them emotionally, given the things they’ve said to each other.’

And opening up about second-oldest son (who was prime to lead Waystar when his father retired), Jesse shared, 'For Kendall, this will never stop being the central event of his life, central days of his life, central couple years of his life. Maybe he could go on and start a company or do a thing, but the chances of him achieving the sort of corporate status that his dad achieved are very low, and I think that will mark his whole life.’

Fans of the show were quick to take to the comments, sharing their own thoughts on the ‘devastating’ destiny of the Roy siblings.

Sharing their sympathy for Kendall, one wrote ‘Kendall has put his entire life into becoming CEO, and the siblings just wanted it because it was shiny.’

Another agreed, ‘Kendall has such a fear of being ordinary (like Connor) with all that money. But his power hunger destroys him in the end.’

And, unlike Jesse’s suggestion, one fan insisted nothing will ever go too far for the siblings to fix. They shared, ‘Honestly, after four seasons I think nothing was said that they can’t come back from. That’s part of their cycle too.’

There's still a lot to take in, and the theories are only just getting started...
