The Harry Potter Cast Still Have A Group WhatsApp And We Want In On The Lolz

Are you even friends if you don’t have a group WhatsApp? Probably not. Which is why anyone who has ever doubted the Harry Potter cast’s IRL friendship can go and sit TF down because here’s some proof for ya.

We’ve seen them at reunions every now and again, and if we’re lucky we’ll spot a jolly Twitter exchange between the ex-co-stars. And okay, you can’t be blamed for wondering how real the love is between these people who last worked together almost six years ago. Work pals drift apart, it’s life. But Hogwarts bonds people, you guys. And a bond shared between wizards is one that lasts. Until the very end.

How can we be sure? Emma Watson spoke about her wizarding colleagues with Entertainment Tonight at the Hollywood premiere of her new film Beauty and the Beast, and said: ‘We actually have a group WhatsApp which invited everyone really from the main cast from Harry Potter to come to the screening.’ Anyone else’s heart swelling with pure joy right now?

‘It’s a case of trying to like, get people into the right places, but yeah, everyone have been very supported and I’m very supported by my old co-stars’. Emma added. So many feels. We all know the pain of trying to organise a group meet up in a WhatsApp conversation with more than one other person because, WhatsApp. And you know what, I bet they have exactly the same group chat stresses as us mere muggles do.

I reckon Matthew Lewis (Neville Longbottom) and Tom Felton (Draco Malfoy) probably go rogue every now and again and get caught up in their own funny back and forth while poor Daniel Radcliffe (HP himself) definitely is the one who sends a message to try and join in only to be met with the double blue tick and no reply. Awkward.

Rupert Grint (Ron Weasley) probably keeps having to be re-added to the group, much to Emma Watson's frustration as group admin, because he keeps losing his ruddy phone and has to message Bonnie Wright (Ginny Weasley) on Facebook pleading with her to give Emma his new number (again) so he can get back in on the bantz.

**What are they like, eh?
