Somewhere in between your Friday night and Saturday night hangover this weekend, something VERY IMPORTANT was going on at Harry Potter World (real name for purists: the Wizarding World of Harry Potter in Orlando, Florida). A celebration was going on for all things Harry Potter because, well, do you really think we need an excuse at this point in time?
Anyways, at the 'Celebration of Harry Potter weekend' several very important things happened. For starters, there was actually LOADS of new information about the books on offer, including the reveal of four other wizarding schools around the world. These are Mahoutokoro in Japan, Uagadou in central Africa, Castleobruxo in Brasil and Ilvermorny in North America - there's more information about them on the Pottermore website including the fact that day pupils at Mahoutokoro get to commute to and from school every day on giant versions of these birds -yet more proof that life in Japan is infinitely better and more bonkers than anywhere else in the world.
Secondly, Ginny and Ron (aka Bonnie Wright and Rupert Grint) hung out and bemoaned the highly important fact that there's still no redhead emoji.
Thirdly, and most importantly, Matthew Lewis (Neville Longbottom), the man single-handedly responsible for the verb 'Longbottoming', has evolved even further and grown a moutstache akin to that of Aaron Taylor Johnson's from 2012 film *Anna Karenina. Part ringmaster, part East End barber from the Victorian times who may or may not be a serial killer, Matthew's face fur is a thing to behold, and a necessary antidote to the Beard Bonanza trend which just won't die. *
Here's to all men getting moustaches.
