This Entertainment Weekly Gilmore Girls Clip Is The Perfect Thing To Watch Ahead Of The Revival

After hearing my friends bang on about it for months, and watching the internet explode over the revival I decided to give in and give up my time (life) to watch Gilmore Girls. And just like that, I was hooked – and by hooked I mean so deeply engrossed in the lives of Rory and Lorelei Gilmore I would spend hours of my life glued to my computer screen watching the mother daughter duo’s lives unfold. #Guilty. Last night I finished it, just in time for the revival. Let's just say it was an emotioal evening.

I’ve always been a big sucker for romantic relationships on TV shows. It all started with Seth and Summer back in 2003 and later develop from Chuck and Blair in Gossip Girl, to Poussey and Soso in Orange Is The New Black. Now, don’t get me wrong, I know getting caught up in made-up relationships is probably quite a basic notion – but there’s something about switching off after a long day to Netflix and fixating on these character’s love lives that soothes me, it’s the ultimate escapism. So obviously the whole Rory, Dean, Jess and Logan journey took me on a world wind ride.

The producers have been really tight lipped about the new episodes, but Entertainment Weekly have shed a little light on Alexis Bledel's feelings toward all three of her ex’s. No spoilers needed, the video gives us an insight into whose team Jared Padalecki (Dean) Milo Ventimiglia (Jess) and Matt Czuchry (Logan) are on and surprisingly none of them are on their own team. It’s exactly what you needed to fill the void ahead of Gilmore Girls: A Year In The Life release on the 25th. To watch the video click here.

As a once firm #TeamJess believer, I can safely say from finishing all long seven seasons, I’m now #TeamLogan. Yes, he has his moments where he acts like a complete douche – but don’t we all. Rory included…just saying. But whereas Dean and Jess don’t recognise their mistakes and chose to ignore Rory all together – or cheat on their wives only to leave her again - Logan takes a day or so then faces up to his wrong doings. Not forgetting he constantly surprises her, challenges her and is an all-round dream boat (yes, I’m swooning).

As Matt Czuchry says, Rory is an independent soul and Logan compliments that throughout. So here's me hoping #TeamLogan comes out on top, but until then I'll just watch this trailer over and over for a week.
