The TV show on everyone's lips at the moment is The White Lotus, which has introduced fans to a fabulous new cast for its third visit to the resort (this time set in Thailand). Tayme Thapthimthong is among season three's newcomers, playing Gaitok - a security guard and Mook (Lisa Manobal, aka the Beyoncé of Thailand)'s budding love interest. The White Lotus paved the way to Tayme's first press junket and red carpet experience - a milestone he said he will 'never forget'.

Tayme describes himself as an 'actor, singer, former military and proud father' in his Instagram bio. After scrolling through his posts, it would appear The White Lotus has been a launchpad for his acting career, as he wrote of the world premiere, 'An incredibly proud moment for me to walk down the red carpet for the first time for The White Lotus season three global premiere! This is truly a milestone in my life that I will never forget. So happy to have got to celebrate with all my lovely cast members! Thank you Mike White for making this all happen for me!'
Tayme also posted about the Thailand premiere, writing, 'Another amazing and unbelievable day at the Thailand premiere of The White Lotus Season three. I'm so happy that we got to do a premiere here in my home country, it means so much to me. So grateful to my parents and brother for flying all the way from the UK to be with me on this special day.'
The HBO star was born and raised in England and worked as a bouncer when he was 18. 'I loved it because I got a real buzz out of protecting people,' he said. He also trained with the British Royal Maries, but sadly wasn't able to join after his medical flagged that his left ear didn't qualify for operations.
Proving his versatility, Tayme finished as runner-up in Akademi Fantasia - a reality show whereby contestants compete for their break in the entertainment industry. From there, he landed his first role in 2014 Thai film Skin Trade, and then starred in Mechanic: Resurrection, Paradox and Farang.
