Yes, yes, we all know Friends recently celebrated its 25th birthday. But in case you needed proof that the iconic sitcom{ =nofollow}’s popularity (and value) hasn’t decreased, it’s been reported that the stars of the show are still earning £16.1million from the repeats. Per year.

According to The Scotsman Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, Matthew Perry, Matt LeBlanc, David Schwimmer are still laughing all the way to the bank.

UCLA lecturer Tom Nunan, who was head of comedy at Fox's TV division when creators Marta Kauffman, Kevin S Bright and David Crane were pitching the show, told the publication, ‘You just don't know how is it when a group of people come together and, if you forgive the expression, make beautiful music together, is that going to be for a generation or is it going to be for the ages?’

Comparing them to The Beatles, he added, ‘I think with The Beatles we can safely say it's for the ages. It's possible with Friends it's the same thing.’

Friends, which ran for 10 years, celebrated its 25th on September 22.

In Grazia's guide to where we think the characters would be now, we predicted that Monica would be running 'a cleaning and organisational Facebook community with several hundred thousand members' and that Phoebe would have become a viral sensation after Smelly Cat was uploaded to Youtube.
