It's one thing speculating what's going to go down in the next installment of Fantastic Beasts, but it's a whole other ball game when there's a brand new trailer to pick apart.

Warner Bros just dropped the official teaser trailer for Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes Of Grindelwald and yes, it looks just as magical as you'd expect it to. We return to Hogwarts, are reunited with dear Newt Scamander and, after all the fun we had nominating who we'd like to play young Dumbledore, we get a proper good look at Jude Law in the role.

Now, we know this installment of JK Rowling's post-Potter franchise sees Newt (played by Eddie Redmayne) and Dumbledore take on dark wizard Gellert Grindlewald who, despite widespread disapproval following accusations of domestic violence, is still to be played by Johnny Depp.

We only spot him for a second or two in the clip, which we're sure will reignite the conversation around whether or not Depp should be in this, and the remaining three films at all, but if there was any doubt about whether or not he'd be kept on board, this seems to be pretty solid confirmation.

In the 1 minute 56 second trailer we see that Katherine Waterston is back as Porpetina, Newt's love interest from the last film, there's also a glimpse of Zoe Kravitz as Leta Lestrange (relation to both Bella and Sirius Black, of course) and all that frantic wand waving and slow spreading of darkness towards the end? Well, it wouldn't be Hogwarts if there wasn't a potentially disastrous battle looming, would it?
