Made in Chelsea star Emily Blackwell has announced her engagement to her long-term boyfriend Jordan Oldershaw. Sharing the news on Instagram she wrote, 'MR & MRS OLDERSHAW... COMING SOON 10.08.2024' alongside a series of celebratory photos. The couple got engaged during a weekend away at the Villa San Michele hotel in Florence, Italy.

Of course, Emily and Jordan's Made in Chelsea co-stars were quick to flood the comments section with their congratulatory messages. Jamie Laing wrote, 'BLACKWELL 5 BACK OF THE NET' while Sophie Habboo wrote, 'NO OMG. So happy for you both.' Emily's on-screen best friend Miles Nazaire commented, 'Wait what!!!!! Omg!!! Let's gooooooo I'm so happy!!!! This is madness congrats.' And another MIC friend Ruby Adler said, 'omg so excited!!!!! yay love you.'

So it's clear that the couple's friends and family are very excited by the news. For any MIC fans who have been sleeping on this relationship and want to play catch up, here's everything you need to know about Jordan, Emily's future husband.

Who is Jordan Oldershaw?

Jordan Oldershaw is the CEO of financial consultancy firm AEJ and has also been a supporting cast member of Made in Chelsea since he started dating Emily Blackwell in 2022. He attended the Surrey boarding school Epsom College.

How old is Jordan?

Jordan is 33 years old, while Emily is 28 and is set to turn 29 in November.

How did Jordan and Emily meet?

Jordan and Emily have been friends of friends for several years and often mixed in the same Chelsea circles. However, they started dating in summer 2022 following Emily's split from ex-boyfriend and co-star Harvey Armstrong.

The couple have gone from strength to strength over the years and are often praised by fans for their drama-free relationship. While Jordan appears on Made in Chelsea occasionally, their relationship has never been the subject of a major storyline and they tend to keep most details private.

However, on 10 August 2024, they announced their engagement on Instagram with Jordan sharing the post on his story and writing, 'Stuck with me forever.'

Will they stay on Made in Chelsea?

If fans are lucky, the pair will discuss their engagement on the next series of Made in Chelsea. If past years are anything to go by, there should be a new series coming in September or October, and hopefully the couple will make an appearance and discuss their news with their co-stars.

While it's unlikely Emily and Jordan have any plans set in stone yet, several of their fellow reality stars have set a precedent for sharing their pre-nuptial plans with fans. James Taylor and Maeva D'Ascanio discussed their wedding plans on Made in Chelsea and put out an E4 special when their son Beau was born. Jamie Laing and Sophie Habboo started a podcast when they got engaged, which more than a year after their wedding is still one of the UK's most popular shows.

And nearly every Made in Chelsea couple – whether they met on the show or not – has shared hen and stag pictures, podcast interviews and wedding photos with fans on social media. Given that Emily already has a podcast with her mum Rachel called Mother Half, we're hopeful that it won't be long before we get the lowdown on what happened on her trip to Italy.

Last September, Jordan appeared as a guest on the podcast and the couple discussed potential wedding plans and the prospect of starting a family. Jordan said, 'Obviously Emily's young, but she wants to be a young mum. We're actually not bothered what order it comes in' and Emily responded, 'It's one of those things, whatever. You just roll with life.'

Does Jordan have Instagram?

Yes, Jordan has Instagram and his handle is @jordan_alexander24.

When are they getting married?

We don't know yet, but stay tuned!
