Starring current queen-of-the-kooks Zoe Kazan, Girls' Adam Driver, and Mackenzie Davis who quite frankly was the only good thing about weird hipster/bro romcom That Awkward Moment earlier this year, *What If *is about Daniel Radcliffe's character 'Wallace'(!) who falls in love with Zoe Kazan's 'Chantry'(!!). The trouble is she already has a boyfriend, so he goes for the next best option and opts to be her friend instead and finds himself in a bit of a pickle.
The film, which is out in August, is sweet and endearing. But can you take Daniel Radcliffe seriously as a romantic lead? That's the debate we've been having here in The Debrief's messy office today.
