Up until now, there has been no definitive answer as to who the fan favourite of Sex and The City is. Everyone has their own personal preference, whether you’re a Miranda or a Carrie.
With the Sex and the City reboot - And Just Like That coming to screens, SlotsOnlineCanada thought it was the perfect time to find out who was truly the most beloved character.
According to their new research, it’s Miss Charlotte York who has been crowned fan favourite from the original Sex and City – somehow beating Carrie Bradshaw and Samantha Jones.
They based their analysis on Twitter commentary over the last year.
The Twitter sentiment analysis was conducted on tweets that mentioned the Sex and the City characters – assigning a positivity score to each one.
So, the more positive comments they received, the higher up in the rankings they appeared.
It was revealed that Charlotte had the highest increase of positive tweets compared to any other main character.
After Charlotte, the results shows that Carrie Bradshaw is the most favoured, while poor old Miranda Hobbes appears at the bottom of the list.
The analysis also found that Carrie Bradshaw’s on-off lover Mr. Big is also very popular with fans – even ranking higher than some of the principle female characters.

There were some similarities - Carrie Bradshaw remains firmly in the second-place spot amongst both sets of results and Miranda Hobbes trails behind in last again.
So, what do you think? Which list is more accurate?
