JoJo Siwa and Chris Hughes' friendship has become this year's biggest talking points both in and out of the house. The pair have grown very close during their time on Celebrity Big Brother, and gone from strangers to holding hands, cuddling and exchanging notes. Now Siwa's partner Kath Ebbs, who they've been dating since last year has broken their silence (in a way).

Ebbs has been vocally supportive of Siwa since entering the house, but has now gone silent. Despite speaking out on TikTok about ex-contestant Mickey Rourke, who was removed for homophobic comments towards Siwa, they've since stopped posting anything online. They've also turned off comments on their social media, after getting lots of comments about Siwa and Hughes' relationship.

In the most recent episode, Hughes expands on their relationship, saying, 'If she left the house ever and I'd be stuck in here that would genuinely be crushed. I guess she's like my person in here. When you walk into a party you don't know anyone, there's someone you want to see in the room that makes you want to feel at ease.'

While many fans suspect Hughes is falling for Siwa, others are adamant they've clearly got a platonic relationship and scenes have been edited for maximum dramatic effect. This week they received an official rule break for writing a message on Hughes' hand, and were subsequently punished.

But were romance rumours extinguished in yesterday's episode anyway? After he selected another cast mate to share a takeaway with him, Siwa was not impressed and shot down him jokingly calling them his 'girlfriend'.

Siwa came out as pansexual in 2021, and more recently describes themselves as gay. An actress, dancer and media personality who first rose to fame at nine, comepting on Abby's Ultimate Dance Competition. Following that, Siwa appeared on two seasons of Dance Moms.

But Hughes' brother appeared on Lorraine and shared his two-cents: 'I actually think they've formed a great friendship due to the fact that Chris stood up for JoJo. I think JoJo is in a solid relationship. Chris will know that. I just think that they've got each other’s backs.

'There’s so many older members of the house there, I think that they’re a couple of the youngest, they've stood up for each other most of the first week. They’ve bonded really well. [They've] got a good friendship and will probably come away from the house as well. It’ll be nice to see.'
