Every year Hollywood descends on Cannes to showcase the latest films, rock the red carpet and party on the famed Croisette. Celeb spotting and dazzling fashion moments aside, the biggest films screened at Cannes tend to be the ones that dominate over the coming year. And this year's jury is chaired by none other than Barbie director Greta Gerwig - a filmmaker who knows a thing or two about what makes great cinema. As official partners of the festival for the third year running, Campari launched its 'We Are Cinema’ campaign to celebrate and support film-making, and its presence is woven throughout the iconic festival.

The official Cannes Afterparty for Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga, starring Anya Taylor-Joy and Chris Hemsworth, was hosted at Hyde Beach by Campari on the Boulevard de Croisette, with Gerwig joining the celebrations after the film's world premiere.

Hyde Beach by Campari was also the venue for the epic Campari Cinémathèque party (the queue to get in stretched down the Croisette) with the likes of Adrien Brody, Ellen von Unwerth, Caroline Daur, Victoria Justice and Marina Barbosa joining Campari to toast the festival and celebrate creativity, innovation and passion in film. Master mixologists from bars from around the world - from Milan's Camparino in Galleria from Milan, to Paris' Bar Nouveau, and Donovan in London - served up their take on a signature Campari cocktail.

Over at the Campari Lounge - a people-watching hotspot at the Palais de Festival overlooking the red carpet - Campari partnered with Breaking Through The Lens, a non-profit organisation which empowers women in film by facilitating access to vital funding, to host the Transcending Borders Gala. Actor Diane Kruger, who is at Cannes to promote her new film The Shrouds, led a panel talk of industry insiders who shared their experiences.

The Campari 'We Are Cinema' campaign continues Campari's longstanding connection with the world of cinema, having supported the industry and championed its film-making talent for the last 40 years. And they sure know how to throw a party, too.
