Obviously, we love seeing what our favourite streaming services have to offer. Netflix and Amazon Prime have become household favourites, and Disney Plus is a must for anyone who enjoys a family-friendly catalogue of hits. But these services all cost money, and things certainly add up if you have them all. Don’t forget, though, that there are some amazing options that don’t cost a penny. Here are just some of our favourites.

Buffy The Vampire Slayer

Sarah Michelle Gellar's iconic monster-killing teen has arrived on All 4. All seven series of the show will be available, and will also air on weeknights on E4.

Buffy's impact on the TV scene cannot be underestimated. Its depiction of high school life, mixed with the ups and downs of demon fighting, made stars of its cast and earned legions of dedicated fans.

Angel

One of the decade's best spin-offs, Buffy's vampire-with-a-soul boyfriend left her at the end of season 3 and headed to California to save the world away from the Hellmouth. A little darker than Buffy, the show allowed Charisma Carpenter's Cordelia to truly shine, and the series finale is a true spectacle. It comes to All 4 from September 18th.

Seinfeld

Yes, Friends is funny, a warm hug of a show. But before those six New Yorkers arrived, the US developed a Seinfeld obsession. Starring the truly side-splitting Julia Louis Dreyfus as Elaine, it’s the perfect boxset binge for when you’re feeling down. Available now, on All 4.

We know we can’t go outside. But the next best thing is imagining that we’re lazing by the pool in our Beverly Hills mansion. Enter 90210, the OC-style teen drama about the gorgeous, rich kids living in the world’s most recognisable postcode. Keep your eyes peeled for a Meghan Markle cameo... Available now, on All 4.

Skins

This show defined a generation, a truly honest depiction of teens in urban Britain. Drugs, sex, all-night parties, it was all there. It transformed Nicholas Hoult from an About A Boy child star into a bonafide leading star, and launched the careers of Dev Patel, Get Out’s Daniel Kaluuya, and Game Of Thrones’ Joe Dempsie. Available now on All 4.

Smack the Pony

Honestly, this sketch show has barely aged a day. Starring Fiona Allen, Doon Mackichan and Sally Phillips, the series offered a unique observation on modern life as a woman, and it is still absolutely hilarious. Available now on All 4.

Spooks

10.series of spy capers is a pretty perfect way to fill your time, no? Spooks was a rare beast in television, never afraid to kill off its most beloved characters, in shocking ways. You’ll never look at a chip fat fryerin the same way again. Available now on BBC iPlayer.

Killing Eve

Yeah, we know you’ve already seen it. But with series 3 back on our screens, it might be time to jog your memory of Villanelle and her exploits. Dark, witty and a rollercoaster of emotion, this is thrilling television. Available now on BBC iPlayer.

Shrill

Starring Saturday Night Live’s Aidy Bryant as Annie, Shrill looks at what is expected of ‘fat’ women in society. This empowering comedy is absolutely hilarious and tonic in our times. Available now on BBC iPlayer.
