Sherlock Series 3
I mean, it's not the *best * off all of the Sherlock series (that wedding episode really threw us for a loop), but after this year's New Year's Day special on BBC and the knowledge that the next series isn't going to be around until 2017(!!!), you're going to need something to tide you over. Watch one episode every three months to get you through.

Are Emma Stone and Andrew Garfield even together any more? The press says no but I, for one, have become very confused. Some celebs could do with being a bit *more *Kardashian in their attitudes to sharing their public life. Until we've got answers watch The Amazing Spider-Man and relive their beautiful, beautiful romance.

The Pallbearer
I'm not going to lie to you guys. I have neither seen nor heard of this movie. And it's got an average rating of 4.9 on IMDB (that's not good, not good at all). But 1996 David Schwimmer and Gwyneth Paltrow together in one rom com is too much to pass up. As far as I can tell Ross plays a 25 year old (lol) who gets asked to speak at the funeral of someone he doesn't remember. There he meets a girl he went to university with who *does *remember the guy who died. Hilarity ensues. Maybe.

Pi
Before Darren Aronofsky directed Black Swan and The Wrestler and Requiem For A Dream (and Noah with Russell Crowe but OMG let's not talk about that), he made Pi, a surrealist wild ride through the unravelling mind of a maths genius who, as well as figuring out a way to predict the stock market, is also suffering from severe delusions and hallucinations. It's not an easy watch but it is a bloody good one.

White Oleander
This was only like, the book of 1999. It was bloody good too. I know because I stole it off my mum who said I was too young to read it. She was probably right. Anyways, the film came along three years later and stars Michelle Pfeiffer, Renee Zellweger and Robin Wright and is about what happens to a teenage girl put into foster care after her unhinged mother ends up in prison for murder.
