May your summer be spent in your living room, curled up on the couch, having a billboard time.

St Elmo's Fire

If you haven't already seen it, this grown-up version of The Breakfast Club is like, the most perfect film you could ever watch if you've just left university and you don't know what the hell you're doing with your life. It's about a group of friends who've done just that and are struggling to deal with adult life. Trust us on this one, no matter how dramatic you think you're being about the whole thing, you've never done a St. Elmo's Fire Demi Moore and tried to freeze yourself to death by opening all the windows in your apartment and rocking back and forwards in a white t-shirt. Plus, Rob Lowe as the bad boy Billy in this film? PEAK LOWE, PEOPLE. PEAK. LOWE.

From 15th July

Wet Hot American Summer

What did Amy Poehler, Paul Rudd, Bradley Cooper and Elizabeth Banks do before they were famous? Why star in the 2001 film Wet Hot American Summer, that's what! Now, 14 years on from the cult film about a bunch of terrible camp counsellors (who you wouldn't trust to be within seven million feet of your children) has been turned into a Netflix Original TV show. All the original cast are back AS WELL AS people like Jason Schwartzman, Roger Sterling from Mad Men, Lake Bell, Jon Hamm, Kristen Wiig and Chris Pine. It's basically guaranteed to be the biggest telly thing this summer. The original film's on Netflix already and it's fucking hilarious so get watching now.

From 19th July

White Collar: Season 5

If you're after some super-light entertainment then check out White Collar (Seasons 1-4 are already on Netflix) and come to realise why everyone wanted it's star Matt Bomer to be Christian Grey (he's also in Magic Mike XXL so keep your eyes peeled for that one, this week). It's about a dastardly con man who's hired by the FBI to help fight (what else?) white collar crime. Matt Bomer's character is also best friends with Stanford Blatch from *Sex and the City *who is another master criminal. Also, it's got Kelly Kapowski from Saved By The Bell in - which is also great.

From 1st July

Admission

A lot of people weren't that into this film when it came out in the cinema but, meh, it's got Tina Fey in so.... GTFO? Tina Fey stars as a badass admissions officer for kind-of-a-big-deal Princeton University. She has got her shit TOGETHER. Until Paul Rudd tells her to come up and visit a weird farm school he works at to meet a student who, as well as being played by Nat Wolff (who you're about to see a lot of with Cara Delevigne in Paper Towns), turns out to be her son. Mad right? Things kind of start falling apart from there. But again, it's got Tina Fey in it so.... GTFO.
