Yes, if you couldn't already tell, we're very excited about the return of And Just Like That, the reboot of Sex And The City. Yesterday, we were blessed a tiny teaser trailer for the series, which showed a steamy kiss between Carrie and Mr Big. But new photos from set have shown some even more groundbreaking news: the Cosmopolitan might be over.
We're not joking. In a photo of Carrie, Miranda and Charlotte enjoying a picnic - if you zoom in, you can see that Carrie is brandishing a bottle of Teetotaler wine. Which is, you guessed it, completely free of alcohol.
Upon closer inspection, it seems they're enjoying a glass of the brand's sparkling rosé, which apparently has 'a gorgeous pink hue and its dry, fine bubbles have a lovely lasting effect on the palate'. It reportedly goes well with 'light soups, salads, cheeses, and pastas', too. But, unfortunately, if you want to copy the gang and try the 0% wine - it's currently only available to buy in the US.
Carrie might have given up drinking, but she's back to smoking - she had quit by the time the film instalments were out - as other photos on set show the character with a cigarette. (Grazia have written here why Carrie should have never quit when Aidan told her too.)
We still don't know when the series is going to land - but some of the script has already been leaked. And things sound messy for Carrie and Big, despite what we've seen in the teaser trailer. Apparently, in one scene, Carrie - who now runs a podcast - says: 'I was taping the podcast, I was washing my hair. Yes, I wasn’t eating or sleeping, but at least I felt good about my marriage. Now I’m just one of the wives he was taking care of?' (Carrie was Big's third wife when they wed in the first film, as he was previously married to Barbara, played by Noelle Beck, and Natasha Naginsky, Bridget Moynahan.)
