Why Didn’t And Just Like That Show What Happened In Cleveland?

We demand answers...

che miranda and just like that

(Spoiler alert, obviously.) For all the Che she wanted a divorce - she was going to surprise her new lover Che, who was performing at comedy concert in Cleveland. Miranda even told Carrie that she felt like she was living in a rom-com, something which would have probably made the usually anti-lovey-dovey Miranda vomit 20 years ago.

But, in episode nine, there was no conclusion to the cliffhanger - as we still don't know what happened in Cleveland... Honestly, forget about Carrie and Charlotte, forget about our new crushes LTW and Seema, we feel like there could have been a whole episode dedicated to Miranda's impulsive trip. But still, we're none the wiser as to what went on.

And we're not the only ones who noticed the trip's absence either, as Twitter is alight with people asking why the Cleveland visit was so expertly glossed over.

Viewers annoyance aside, it also just doesn't make sense for the writers to skip this crucial plot point. (Unless the production team filmed the scenes, and later cut them as they didn't work?!) As in the latest episode, presumably following the trip, Che was agitated when Miranda showed up at their door in NYC unannounced.

It leaves us with so many questions (which we're still thinking about)... If Che was annoyed when Miranda turned up at their home, how did they feel when she showed up in a different state? Were they pissed off when Miranda showed up with cookies because just they were having a bad day, or was it because they felt that Miranda was already being overbearing, what with the fact she was already surprised them in Cleveland... We wish we knew, but at this point, it's just pure speculation as to what happened when Miranda made the trip.

Anyway, we'll obviously be getting more Miranda and Che this week, as the trailer for the finale (sob!) has dropped. Miranda is on tenterhooks as she finally meets Che's family at a meal. But it looks like there could be trouble in paradise, as it appears that former corporate lawyer Miranda - who is now studying to be move into human rights - is going to have to chose between Che and an internship. Hopefully writers don't cut out that decision.
