Season 3 of Orange is the New Black is about to hit Netflix guys. Hooray for that. We were so desperate for something to watch that we were starting to think that turning on normal TV was a good idea. Yes. We are definitely ready for some new episodes. Here are the questions we’re going to need answering in the new series please, Netflix! Also, MASSIVE SPOILER ALERT if you haven’t already seen the first two series (in which case, what are you reading this for? Get onto Netflix, to watch series one and two).
****1. Who’s Going To Be The New Baddie?
SPOILER ALERT, now Vee’s met a sticky end (we hope) there’s room in town for a new no good, terrible, matriarch to lead the girls astray. And, TBF, any of the current cast are capable of assuming that role. As long as it isn’t Red, or Morello, or Taystee, or Crazy Eyes, or Piper. Actually screw it, it’s going to have to be one of the new girls. Which brings us to…
2. What is the deal with the new girl Stella Marlin?
So far all we know is that Australian model Ruby Rose has joined the cast as Stella Marlin, probably the most attractive person to wear prison scrubs since stupidly attractive convict Jeremy Meeks last year. No word yet on what she’s done but judging by the oh-so-coquettish wink she gives Piper in the trailer… there’s going to be some tension there. In fact…*
3. Are Piper and Alex going to be one big train wreck again?
Piper’s single! Alex is back in Litchfield! What could possibly go wrong? Oh wait, apart from their exceptionally tumultuous history, the addition of Stella and the small matter that they’re trapped in a prison where relationships are forbidden and also are surrounded by hundreds of other women. This should go just fine….
4. How’s this baby thing going to work?
Daya’s GOT to have her kid sometime soon, right? She’s been pregnant for a fair old while. Since Caputo convinced Bennett to keep a lid on the whole ‘I got an inmate pregnant thing’ though, there's bound to be repercussions. Watch this space…
5. Is Crazy Eyes going to be ok?
Because she’s the best. And that’s the main reason we hated Vee, especially after she tried to get Crazy Eyes to take the fall for the heroin. Will she be able to stand on her own two feet again? Can she finally find a friend she can rely on? Can we be that friend? Here’s hoping.
