Feeling incredibly #blessed to have had a lot of bank holidays recently? Then give back to the party gods at one of this weekend’s best. There’s plenty to choose from, including a Hyperdub special at Fabric, a loved-up all day and night event in Bristol, a double appearance from Norwegian wonder man Todd Terje and a party that promises unmissable “multi-sensual” surprises.

from Moleskin will help you make up your mind. Titled ‘Turnt On’, it’ll make you feel just that and (possibly) like heading to Fire 2 for this night from the Goon Club Allstars. Crazy Cousinz is onboard for a Classic UK Funky Set alongside Lit City Trax’s DJ Marfox, Goon Club’s own MssngNo, Moleskin going b2b with partner in DJing Neana and Beat Werk’s own Legaspi.

But if you don’t feel like getting turnt maybe get cosmic? YEARS after his ‘Eurodans’ EP Norwegian bearded disco wizard Todd Terje released his debut proper ‘It’s Album Time’ in April and it’s already being considered one of the best of the year for its mix of loungey dance, italo and house. I’d quite happily have his 2012 track ‘Inspector Norse’ (included on the album) as my life-soundtrack. As well as Love Saves The Day on Saturday, he’ll play two shows on Sunday night at Glasgow Barrowland Ballroom and at the Tourist night in Newcastle.

Extended Play with Heatsick @ Bethnal Green Working Men’s Club, London

Sunday 25th May

When an artist says 'my three hour-DJ sets are like a cognitive massage' you know it’s a serious party. That’s what Berlin based DJ/producer ‘Heatsick’ says of his Extended Play live sets and, if you go by the stories, that’s exactly what they are. Engineered to the spaces he plays in, they feature a homemade light grid (he also told the Guardian it was 'a sort of dream machine') and have had hula hoops handed out the audience, or the whole place sprayed with Chanel Perfume to mess with your limbs, ears, and mind equally. This one promises 'food, fragrance, cocktails’ and (slightly more obviously) ‘dancing’.
