XOYO Loves w/ Danny Brown, Mark Ronson, Redlight, Kutmah, Rustie @ Coronet Theatre, London
**Sat ****29 ****Nov **
The other day a friend was complaining that over the next couple of the weeks, she’ll have no time to go to actual fun clubs as her calendar is taken over by work parties, last minute ‘oh i haven’t seen you in ages let’s meet up before the break’ catch-ups and evenings spent haphazardly trying to wrap presents rather than do things like dancing to excellent music.
If you’re in the same situation, take the opportunity to go out this weekend, perhaps at the night hosted by club XOYO at the bigger Coronet club in south london. Rapper Danny Brown lines up alongside Redlight, Kutmah, Rustie and Mark Ronson DJing (if you’ve never seen him he always, always plays hits).

**JUCE (Supporting Basement Jaxx) @ O2 Academy Sheffield **
**Sat ****29 ****Nov **
If you haven’t tasted the JUCE yet first up, take a chance to watch the ultra-fun, exceptionally styled videos for their singles Call You Out, Burning Up (added bonus it will remind you of summer) and 6th Floor.
Next, go and see Georgia, Chalin and Cherish supporting Basement Jaxx on tour this month and next as they play Sheffield, Bristol, Birmingham, Leeds, Newcastle, Manchester, Cambridge and London. Super refreshing pop for 2015.
**Laugh: Aziz Ansari @ Hammersmith Apollo, London **
**Sun ****30 ****Nov **
Aziz Ansari doesn’t just play the funniest character in Parks & Recreation, he’s also a top stand up – as anyone with a Netflix account can attest to. Now ruminating on topics of the heart (he covered dating, marriage, babies and all that in his last show Buried Alive and is digging deeper on this tour) as well as the hilarious family anecdotes he’s got two dates at Hammersmith Apollo on Sunday. If you aren’t in London, don’t worry about it, it’s cheaper to watch his previous shows online and follow his blog www.azizansari.com for laughs, posters and a look at the best things he can cook.

A special community run Christmas Night Market in Manchester that promises seasonal cheer in full flow and hefty amounts of good food and drink. Guzzle mulled wine, smoking bishops (warm port with burnt orange and clove, apparently), pizza, pierogi, gamey things, pancakes, plus gifts to buy. Get in the spirit because it is nearly December, the time when it’s OK to feel festive, wander around markets and get fat.

**Independent Label Market @ Spitalfields, London **
**Sat ****29 ****Nov **
But if you can’t be bothered with the food part of a Christmas market, or the baubles, or the crafty card things that seem like a good idea after too many Bailey’s coffees, then head to Spitalfields this weekend where a bunch of the usual stalls will have been displaced by the hardworking indie record label owners of the UK for the wrap-up-warm edition of the Independent Label Market.
This time there will be stalls from regulars like Rough Trade, 4AD, Hyperdub and Bella Union, DJ sets and – if you’ve always wished that you could be someone from a Britpop band in the 1990s – the chance to win an Epiphone guitar signed by Noel Gallagher. There will also be a lot of ale if, well, you’ve always wished you could be someone with a little ale belly like people from Britpop bands in the 1990s might have now.
