Manhattan ‘til Midnight Live Music Nights is an exciting postmodern mix of loud, 20’s speakeasy style and jukebox classics. Vegan beer is a thing, you guys. And this weekend there's a whole festival dedicated to it! Hosted by Fat Gay Vegan, Sheffield Vegan Beer Fest is where you're probably gonna want to head on Saturday. There's gonna be a Beer Hall serving a selection of thirst-quenching, hand-picked beers and then out in the courtyard you'll find delicious vegan street food to soak it all up. As we all know, it's Pride month, and it's almost Sheffield's turn to host the celebration. Everything's going down at Endcliffe park this year, with two stages to keep the festivities flowin'. Live music, tribute bands, cabaret and burlesque performances are all in store, along with a load of other fun festival-like things. Excited? Thought so. If you were in the area for Pride last year, you'll be happy to hear that ‘Climax’ is back again this Saturday night at Foundry, Sheffield Students’ Union. Expect Pride cocktails, giveaways and all the good times! You'll even be able to request your fave tunes and when you're over that there's always the Karaoke Session over in Bar One to visit. Murder mystery isn't just a television thing guys, you can go and play along in one IRL. In fact, there's going to be one at the Botanical Gardens this Sunday afternoon! Who'd have thunk? This particular event is called 'Murder on the Terrace'. The victim is Lord Cava (like the drink, we guess), who was celebrating his retirement and preparing to hand over his empire to his nephew Charles. But apparently, Charles wasn't really about that life so had planned to shut it all down until he was found dead. Book your tickets on the website if you're feeling all Nancy Drew.

In celebration and support of the LGBTQ community in Sheffield and beyond, Broomhall Community Cinema returns with a screening of Kiki, a documentary about New York’s underground ballroom scene, with a particular focus on what life was like for LGBTQ people of colour.
