Planning a weekend trip? Well, aren’t you a lucky thing – we suggest you book a trip to Amsterdam and visit the land famous for clogs and erm, well, other things. Here’s your Pinterest-inspired holiday in the Dam. You’re very welcome.
** Go grab bunch**
Best thing to do after you’ve just arrived? Grab brunch, obviously. We recommend checking out the G Brunch Boat as it’s the only brunch boat in the whole wide world so do you really need any other reasons? Oh, and get a bloody Mary – it will not disappoint.
**Check out some art **
If modern art’s your thing, you should definitely head to the Moco Museum. It only opened in March 2016 but is quickly becoming to go-to space for art. Spoiler: expect some Bansky and Warhol.
** Ride a bicycle **
It’s probably against the law to go to Amsterdam and not rent a bike, right? It should be. We suggest you renting one then riding it along the canals, take an Instagram snap along the way and you’ll be dead #trendy.
** Eat for hours **
Riding a bike around all afternoon probably definitely made you hungry, so go to Café Restaurant Amsterdam for cheap, traditional cooking and a great atmosphere. What more could you want? This is a rhetorical question because the answer is NOTHING.
**Then drink for hours more **
All that walking around has probably got you thirsty. Bar Bukowski is located in the Eastern part of Amsterdam and goes by the ethos: 'there is always a reason to drink!.' We’ll drink to that!
**Wanna see plant heaven? OK **
What’s that? You want to buy souvenir? Of course you do. If plants are your thing, Wildernis, the urban garden shop on the Bilderdijstraat right in the middle of Amsterdam will be too. Check out the dreamy interiors, we want it all.
Spend the night...
On a boat. This Airbnb is enough to make us pack up our bags right now and move to Amsterdam. LOOK AT IT. Goodbye friends and family, a new life (well, weekend away) in the Netherlands awaits us.
