Want a night where you’ll hear brand new releases alongside club favourites? There are plenty of parties this week, with launch parties from Evian Christ, R&S Records and Duke Dumont. Elsewhere, Four Tet holds an all-nighter and promoters Get Born celebrate a birthday.

with Jamie xx has appeared and you can bet some of it will get played at his latest all-nighter. Hebdan and special guests will be taking over Brixton Academy from 10pm to 6am. Keeping with the launches, the world-famous R&S records (relaunched post-2006 with artists including James Blake, Pariah, Vondelpark) mark the release of Dublin based duo Lakker's ‘Containing a Thousand EP with an audio-visual show in the East of the city.

Wen’s refixof Dizzee Rascal’s Strings Hoe feels like one of the most mixed songs of the last 12 months since it appeared on Keysound recordings last year. Now, there’s a full album of grime instrumentals and tracks from the 22 year old producer on the same label. ‘Signals’ is out this week and to coincide nicely - he’s appearing alongside Night Slugs head Bok Bok and whiplash inducing producer Addison Groove at promoter ‘Get Born’s birthday party.

Duke Dumont @ Studio 15, Windsor

Friday 21st March

But if that’s not your thing, at the other end of the scale is something incredibly ‘up’ and incredibly popular. Heading for a number one this Sunday with the peppy Whitney Houston ‘My Love Is your Love’ sampling ‘I Got U ft. Jax Jones’ is Duke Dumont. He plays in Windsor on Friday for an event, according to the promoters, that will sell out for sure. With one 'ibiza anthem' already to his name, that’s not hard to imagine.

SOAP @ Birthdays, London.

Saturday 22nd March

AAAND OK it's not anything to do with launches or new releases but SOAP @ Birthdays in Dalston sounds like a lot of fun - in its own words it’s “East London’s best kept secret… A night that celebrates Hip Hop and RnB and it’s sub genres in a fresh and intrinsically British way”. Sounds fun.
