Park Lane is one of London’s most prestigious addresses. Moments from Green Park station, overlooking Hyde Park, it’s close to the capital’s main attractions, including theatres, Buckingham Palace, Bond Street and Oxford Street but remains an iconic postcode. Few locations such as Park Lane’s Hilton Hotel offer both access to the city’s vast greenery as well as everything London has to explore; the views, however, mean you might never want to leave the hotel.
Opened in 1963 as Hilton's first UK hotel, London Hilton on Park Lane has been a beacon of unrivalled hospitality for six decades. With 453 rooms and a yearly footfall exceeding 200,000 guests, after a multi-million pound refurbishment, the hotel reopened its doors in 2023 to critical acclaim. A go-to destination for celebrities and international travellers alike, the landmark hotel remains a pillar of storied hospitality.

Everything you need to know about Hilton Park Lane's rooms
The rooms are spacious, clean and modern. An expansive lobby, featuring a unique art installation by award-winning London designer Giles Miller, nods to the bespoke art pieces that can be found in each room. Each suite comes with a spectacular view across London’s most iconic landmarks (warning: you will want to sleep with the curtains open), with a design palette said to evoke Mayfair’s traditional colours, from 1960s Savile Row-inspired fashions to the verdant greens of the nearby Hyde Park, and the English countryside - specifically the influence of Inge Beck, Hilton’s director of interior decoration for Hilton Hotels International in 1963.

Where to eat at Hilton Park Lane
Following the epic refurb, there are two new venues to indulge in: Park Corner Brasserie and the oasis-inspired Revery Bar. Park Corner Brasserie is centred around an open kitchen, serving seasonal British fare (think scallops, oysters and lobster tail and dry-aged beef) and a sustainably-sourced menu, while the ground floor Revery Bar will take all the hassle of out wondering where to book for an aperitif: simply pull up a pew at the bar’s plush red velvet stools and enjoy a diverse range of cocktails. Breakfast in the brasserie is an equally indulgent affair; the expansive buffet will satisfy all tastes from healthy (yoghurt, fruit, granola et al) to indulgent (all components for a full English fry are cooked fresh) and everything in between. We’re sold on the miniature pastries alone.

Anything else?
As per most establishments catering to the corporate 1%, a 24-hour fitness centre is located on the lower ground floor, offering a range of the latest cardio equipment and weights. There’s also a sauna and steam room for peak relaxation, and an in-house spa offering a range of treatments. And for a rare add-on? It’s fur-friendly, meaning you can bring your four-legged pet with you. Perfect with Hyde Park on your doorstep.
