Banish your icy inner snob this weekend and indulge in a festive film treat aka that big blockbuster film that comes out at this time of year aimed at children and teenagers but that older people go and watch anyway (see: Lord Of The Rings, Harry Potter etc). The third film in the Hunger Games trilogy (they split the last book into two films because £££) doesn’t actually feature any Hunger Games showdown, but does feature plenty of bleak dystopian battles, ideological wrangling, angsty lovers, Jennifer Lawrence and a soundtrack from Lorde. Go along, order the biggest popcorn you can and a nice cinema-sized bottle of red wine - you’re an adult with an actual job after all.
