There’s a certain sort of person on the internet who seems to love nothing better than making others feel unhappy and insecure.

Fitness guru Cassey Ho, who runs a Pilates YouTube channel called blogilates, knows all too well how nasty anonymous online commenters can be. Her videos and photos regularly attract mean responses, pointing out supposed ‘flaws’ in the way she looks.

Here’s a typical example of the selfies she posts on Instagram, for reference:

Eventually, she’d had enough – so decided to Photoshop an image of herself to correct all of the things online trolls were telling her were wrong with her body. The video below shows some of the cruel comments, and the edits she made as a result.

Before she released the video, Cassey posted a selfie on Instagram that was edited to give her a 'perfect body'. She wanted to find out if correcting all of her 'flaws' would be enough to make the nasty commenters leave her alone.

It turns out that it made no difference. Trolls still found things to criticise about her fake, ‘perfect’ appearance and some even called her ‘fat’.

Honestly, we’re not surprised. Cassey is clearly gorgeous just as she is, and it seems likely that the cruel comments say more about the people writing them than they do about her.
