Makeup can get pretty inventive on social media, but it’s usually something we can appreciate aesthetically even if it’s something we’d only wear to a fancy dress party. But it seems makeup artistry has covered literally every conceivable other thing in the world which can be drawn on eyelids, because that’s the only possible explanation for this new trend.

Women are now drawing dicks on their eyelids. Yes. Shaft winged liner, and inner corner scrotums are probably gracing your Twitter feed right now. Even though its inventor started the ‘eye look’ to satirise increasingly bizarre makeup trends, we’re praying that it doesn’t catch on.

The Californian teen who started the trend, Asia Brautigam, told Buzzfeed that she ‘wanted to joke around about the creative and artistic eyeshadow looks’ she sees on social media, and other users are getting in on the joke.

It’s very possible that in a world where an orange ham is going to be the most powerful man in the world, we’ve descended to such a level of despair that we’d rather spend our time drawing dicks on our own faces. I think I’m done humaning now.
