Ever wondered what would happen if the worst did happen and a nuclear bomb went off somewhere in your vicinity?
Now, thanks to Ground Zero, you new favourite pick-me-up website, you can find out just how fucked you, your house, your place of work and your friends' houses would be.
The concept is simple - just put in your post code, choose which nuclear bomb you'd like to test and click 'nuke it!'
What results is a bomb radius showing you the different levels of damage the bomb would have on the surrounding areas.
The bombs you can choose from range from the smaller end like Little Boy, the 1945 uraniam bomb the United States dropped on Hiroshima which clocked in at 15kt (kt stands for how many kilotons of TNT it was equivalent to), to the larger end the USSR's 1961 monstrosity the 'Tsar Bomba' which weighed in at 5o MEGATRONS.
To put things in perspective, if you set the Tsar Bomba off in central London, the blast radius would, according to Ground Zero, reach Maidstone, 45 miles away.
Gulp.
PEACE AND LOVE GUYS. PEACE AND LOVE.
