A woman has taken to TikTok to expose her ‘misogynistic' date who told that her women 'need to know their role.'

I think we have all come across an out-dated guy like this at least once. A man who thinks a woman’s role is solely in the kitchen and talks down to women at any given opportunity.

A viral video by TikToker Haley Hyde(@haleyhydee) has become a talking point (and racked up 1.4 million views). In the video she explains a first date experience from hell. She details that she instantly knew they wouldn’t work out and told him exactly why.

In on-screen captions, she explained, 'Went on a first date last night, was disrespected the whole time. 'Told him it wasn't going to work out. He told me on the date that his last first date didn't work out because he called the girl an 'air head'. 'Keeps saying I'm smart for a barista but didn't know what misogynistic meant.'

Hayley also scrolled through a a screen record of their text conversation. In the conversation we can see Hayley breaking things off writing, 'You were being super misogynistic, and I know you weren't doing it [on] purpose but that shit's not charming or funny anymore and hasn't been for a long time.'

The man then asked: 'What's that mean? – you use big words for a barista.'

She replied, ‘See this is exactly what I mean, you can’t expect to get anywhere with a girl if you’re going to talk down to them, and then tell them you’re sending them to cooking school.’

‘Good luck with your third first date.’ she adds.

He then did the classic move when men feel rejected and started immaturely lashing out. He replied, 'Hopefully the next looks as good as the pics and has personality.’

Hayley fired back, ‘Love the switch up after you get rejected – you’ve got tiny man syndrome.’

He said, ‘I thought about dropping you off before dinner even started but gave you a chance.’

‘This is funny – please keep the insults coming and keep proving me right.’ She texted back

He concluded, ‘I can do this all day – women do need to know their role.’

Hayely was definitely right to cut this relationship off before it really began. He constantly belittles her and believes women don't have the agency to make their own choices. A woman's role can a housewife though choice, but this 'man' seems to think we shouldn’t have that choice.
