This years Baileys Women's Prize for Fiction in accordance with Grazia is about to descend on London's Southbank Centre, bringing a panel of high profile, creative and inspirational women toegther to celebrate the power of books.
The discussion will take place in the run-up to the announcement of the 2015 Baileys Women's Prize for Fiction winner on 3 June, an award previously given to Zadie Smith, Lionel Shriver, A.M Holmes and Eimear McBride. The evening will include personal stories and anecdotes from the panel as they talk about the books they love and the female writers who have had the most influence on their careers and lives.
Best-selling novelist Kate Mosse, co-founder and chair of the board of the Baileys Women’s Prize for Fiction, chairs the panel discussion which includes:
Jane Shepherdson, CEO of Whistles
Shami Chakrabarti, Director of Liberty and chair of the 2015 Baileys Women’s Prize for Fiction judges
Grace Dent, columnist, broadcaster and 2015 Baileys Women’s Prize for Fiction judge
Aminatta Forna, award-winning author of The Memory of Love
and Polly Vernon, outspoken Grazia columnist and author of Hot Feminist.
