Are you stressed right now? Chances are that you are, because it’s Monday and who isn’t stressed on a Monday? You’re probably sat at your desk wondering how the hell you’re going to get through everything in time for that 6pm workout you promised you would do because you ate crap all weekend. And then you’ll stress yourself out more when you don’t go, because you feel guilty. In short, we’re all stressed, but an American psychology teacher has come to save the day.
Alina Ramirez, a high school student from California, has shared a list her psychology teacher, Brett Phillips, gave his whole class. The list, titled ‘101 ways to cope with stress’ is the list we all need in our lives to calm us down when it all feels a bit too much. I’ve read it twice and I already feel better, and that’s without doing anything off the list.
Alina told Buzzeed that her teacher: 'knows how stressed we are with school, sports, work and life in general, so he gave us the paper to help us, and just to have in case we are stressed.' I mean, Mr Phillips where were you when we were stressed in school? The list has been shared and retweeted over 20, 000 times on Twitter, and we can understand why. Team debrief have printed out this list and it’s now stuck on our wall, we highly recommend you do the same.
