On Sunday night, adult film star Stormy Daniels sat down to talk about her alleged affair with now, President Donald Trump.

The Stormy Daniels Interview – What Did We Learn?

Speaking with Anderson Cooper on CBS’s 60-minutes show the film star and director, real name Stephanie Clifford, gave intimate details on her experience. Including specifics such as sex, hush deals and threats, Stormy Daniels didn’t hold back.

The two met at a golf tournament at Lake Tahoe in July, 2006. Trump invited Daniels to dinner and they met in his hotel room. During the encounter, Trump offered her a place on ‘Celebrity Apprentice’, a business deal which would likely have them crossing paths again.

Though she disassociates herself from the #MeToo movement, expressing that she was ‘not a victim’, the story reveals a huge abuse of power from Trump. The interview offers more examples of how The President uses his money and power to intimidate others, specifically women. The interview was also filled with pretty strange revelations about the 45th President Of The United States (alleged) sexual conduct. Just when you thought he couldn't get any stranger.

**1. Trump got spanked with a magazine with his own face on it **

At the time of the encounter, Trump was just the reality star we all loved to hate. He reportedly ‘talked about himself a lot’ showing off his face on the cover of a magazine. In response to this, Daniels told him to turn around, take his pants down and proceeded to ‘give him a couple of swats’. Yes, you read that right, with his own face.

2. He kept comparing Daniels to his daughter Ivanka

Daniels told the 60-minute host of how Trump compared her and Ivanka, saying: ‘you’re smart, beautiful and a woman to be reckoned with – I like you.’ Shudder.

3. Daniels said she had ‘no physical attraction’ to Trump

Heartbreakingly, she said that although she didn't wish to partake in sex with Trump, as far as she's concerned, the sex was consensual. ‘I had it coming, for putting myself in that situation. I thought to myself, you deserve this.’ Which sounds like a perfect example of how a woman can feel like she is responsible for her own experiences of being intimidated into sex.

The two met again, for a business meeting held in Trump’s bungalow in Beverly Hills. The meeting was to discuss her being on Celebrity Apprentice and Daniels said she could tell he wanted to have sex again. She said ‘he came and sat next to me and touched my hair and rubbed my knee.’ When it seemed like there were no real developments on her appearance on Celebrity Apprentice, she left the business meeting. Shortly afterwards it was revealed that she could not appear on the reality show.

4. Daniels and her daughter were threatened into silence

In 2011, details of the affair began to leak to the press and Daniels was going to tell her story for $15,000 (£10.5 k). The story never ran because Trump’s attorney, Michael Cohen threatened to sue.

Shortly after the magazine ordeal, while she was on her way to a fitness class, Daniels said that an unidentified man approached and threatened her.

‘A guy walked up on me and said to me, “Leave Trump alone. Forget the story”. And then he leaned around and looked at my daughter and said, “That’s a beautiful little girl. It’d be a shame if something happened to her mom.” And then he was gone.’

It wasn’t until many years later, 11 days before the Presidential election, that Daniels’ silence was purchased. Before the election was happening, she signed a hush deal. She says it’s because she would 'receive money and not have to worry about what effects the story would have on her daughter. '

Trump is still denying that he ever had an affair with Stormy Daniels, and she said she wanted to come out now because she was ‘fine with staying quiet, but not okay with being made out to be a liar.’

Trumps lawyers are now saying she broke the non-disclosure deal she signed before the 2016 presidential election and are seeking $20m (£14m) in damages from her.

Daniels has filed a lawsuit to scrap the agreement, saying it is invalid because Mr Trump did not sign it
