Someone Created A Dating Site Especially For White People

When he’s not selling cars at his Utah-based company, Automatic Car Credit Inc, Sam Russell is uniting lonely hearts all over the US with his latest business venture – a dating website. Yep, as long as you’re over 18, pay a small fee and agree to abide by the site’s security regulations, you too can be paired with like-minded people, which will ultimately enable you to ‘bring your ideal soul mate closer’.

The only thing is, you have to be white to sign up.

Yep, in present day America, a man named Sam Russell has set up a dating website especially designed for white people, aptly named, wherewhitepeoplemeet. But hang on, according to him, he’s no racist…

‘It’s not about racism by the way, but about equal rights,’ he told The Debrief. He also stated, in a separate interview with The Washington Post, ‘I dated a black woman once.’ Oh, OK then.

In case you’re interested(!) the website was dreamt up by Russell last May, following a moment of inspiration courtesy of US daytime TV (seriously).

‘One day, my wife, Jodie, and I were watching daytime TV,’ he explained to us, ‘and every other ad was for Black People Meet or Farmers Only or LDS Singles, so I said to her why not a White People Meet site? The online dating business is a multi-billion dollar industry, so we felt like there was room for another site.

‘When people ask why, we say why not!’

The couple began exploring the concept immediately, but the website only got up and running last weekend, complete with a billboard of a smiling white couple, just outside of Salt Lake City.

Mr Russell has referred to the supposed ‘popularity’ of the website as a way of defending his dating service. Apparently, 100,000 people visited his site last weekend, although he’s reluctant to reveal how many people are currently paying to use his romantic services…

The website challenges those who are skeptical about the concept, comparing wherewhitepeoplemeet.com to ‘various dating websites that promote and cater to just about every origin, race, religion and lifestyle.’

It’s not really the same thing though, is it Sam?

Oh, and usage is strictly restricted to heterosexuals only. Because, as the website reads, ‘No one should go through life alone’. No-one straight and white, anyway.
