You might have heard that Siri has a sassy response to the request ‘what is 0 divided by 0’, but we think she/he’s got a bigger trick up his sleeve.
About that 0 divided by 0 – you can ask him/her, if you really want to break the habit of a lifetime and actually use Siri – or you can just see what she/he has to say about the impossible conundrum, which is: ‘Imagine that you have zero cookies and you split them evenly among zero friends. How many cookies does each person get? See? It doesn't make sense. And Cookie Monster is sad that there are no cookies, and you are sad that you have no friends.’
The bigger, more pressing joke at hand? Siri said today, at 7.53am, that 21° C ‘isn’t too hot’.
Today, temparatures in the UK are set to rise to 36° C on our hottest day in nine years. We’ll be hotter than the Sahara, and not only will you sweat through all of your clothes, but you’ll also have to contend with the fact that certain train lines aren’t working because their tracks buckle under the sun’s rays. On the plus side, you’re not meant to be in the sun from 11am until 3pm, says England Public Health. This all means that, by the time you’re let out of work, the weather might be comfortable again!
