You know when you’re looking at yourself in the mirror, giving it all the blue steel, and you think yourself, ‘Good gosh I’m attractive, if ONLY there was a way of capturing what I look like at this very moment so everyone else could experience me in all my gorgeousness’? Well, you’ll no longer have to deal with that problem, our narcissistic friends, because someone (with way too much time on their hands) has now invented an automated selfie mirror designed to photograph you at your most smiley and attractive.
The mirror is the brainchild of iStrategyLabs is ingeniously called S.E.L.F.I.E. which stands for ‘Self-Enchancing Live Feed Image Engine’ and consists of a two-way mirror, a Mac Mini with facial-recognition software and LED countdown timer. All you have to stand in front of the mirror, try out a few smiles and wait for the system to find your toothiest smile and let it take a picture.
What makes the mirror’s selfies better than the ones you do with your phone is that you can see yourself clearly in the mirror without having to hold a camera or phone in your face. What makes it worse is that someone has thought it necessary to create something that makes us achieve such selfie perfection. And that people will probably, actually buy it.
