Over the years, they've acquired a few favourites, from decadent Chelsea restaurants, plush bars and members-only clubs. Obviously, what goes on inside these high-end establishments when the royals visit stays a well-kept secret, but what we can tell you is where you're most likely to see them...

The Ivy

Celebrity hotspot The Ivy was where The Queen was spotted dining in May 2017, and it's no surprise, considering that the restaurant is one of the most sought-after spots in London.

Bumpkin

British brasserie hosted a Christmas lunch for The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge back in 2012, who treated 27 members of their staff to a festive meal. Bumpkin are known for their roast dinners, if you ever fancy a regal Sunday meal.

Mahiki

Anyone who's anyone knows that Polynesian-themed night club Mahiki was a sure-fire favourite with Prince Harry, Prince William and Kate Middleton back in the day. Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie have also been spotted partying here.

Rumoured to be one of Kate's favourite London hotspots, Bluebird Chelsea is a decadent, plush restaurant and bar that attracts both royals and celebrities alike. The Made In Chelsea cast also frequently dine here.

Thanks to it's discreet rooms, Launceston Place was one of Princess Diana's favourite places to dine back in the 1990s. Now, the restaurant has named their cheese soufflé after her in her honour.

Notting Hill's Rum Kitchen is where Prince Harry once went to sample a delicious Caribbean cuisine, whilst listening to some island tunes.

The Arts Club

Literary, arts and science club The Arts Club is where you're most likely to spot Prince Phillip, who is a patron of the place (look to the portrait of him hanging in the stairwell for proof). The club also boasts a legacy of members including Charles Dickens, so it's pretty darn hard to get into.

Soho House

A well-known spot where Meghan Markle has been spotted is members-only club Soho House. It's been rumoured that the Duchess of Sussex used to have secret royal dates with Prince Harry there, although this hasn't ever been confirmed.

The Duchess of Sussex has also been spotted eating at Italian restaurant Bocca Di Lupo in Soho, who are known for their homemade, regional Italian cuisine.

Dans Le Noir?

The infamous Dans Le Noir? restaurant where diners eat in complete darkness was rumoured to be a date hotspot for Kate and William before they tied the knot. Obviously, nobody has actually seen them there, considering that the restaurant has no lights on.

Restaurant Story

Prince Andrew's eldest daughter Princess Beatrice was seen dining at the Michelin-star Restaurant Story in Bermondsey. The restaurant is built on the site of a former toilet block, but if it's good enough for Beatrice, it's good enough for us!
